It's a beautiful thing, the little events that can make someone smile.
Today was rather uneventful. I got my hair cut and played my last indoor soccer game of the season.
But, afterwards, I went to IHOP to enjoy some decent chicken florentine crepes with Kayla, Kyndra and Bryan.
That's not the coolest part though. I know, you're thinking 'cooler than chick florentine crepes'?! I am here to assure you, yes.
About a year ago, I stumbled across a little band by the name of The Kooks. They're a band from the UK, and they crammed their little foreign butts into my heart with "She Moves In Her Own Way". Since then, I've gotten into many more of their songs, and just generally enjoyed them as a band.
During the drive back to my place after IHOP, the DJ on one of Denver's hottest stations announces that he will "be playing the hot new song, She Moves In Her Own Way by The Kooks". This was very exciting, and a little annoying all at once.
New to him? Maybe. But new in general? Wrong!
Regardless, The Kooks have made it to mid-western United States, and I'm stoked.
xoxo-
Devin

That's so cool that they played a song you fell in love with a long time ago(:
