For the Record;

I caught myself up on Life of Ryan, Cashmere Mafia and Gossip girl today. Let me re-cap before I go run;

Ryan Sheckler never ceases to steal my heart in a nano second, even when he does nothing that's really even admirable. Maybe it's his uncanny good looks or his ability to love on his little brother like I so rarely see teenage boys do.

Regardless, my conclusion is thus: To swoon for a half hour every Tuesday night, for several weeks.

I think my love for Cashmere Mafia is evolving simply because of the power women have in the show. The four main characters are each very successful in their careers, and as a nice change, guess what?

Not a dang one of them depends on their husbands.
Oh yeah, boys. Get a load of that. :)

It also helps that each of the women are intelligent, sophisticated and (for the most part) classy.


And Gossip Girl. :) I'm telling you, I don't care if Chace Crawford stands there and holds a trash bag for an hour, I'll watch it. But, him getting all up in his on-screen best friend's face to fight about who slept with his girlfriend when, is even better. The ups of the friendship between Blair and Serena, and their ridiculous fights also remind me very much of my best friend, Kayla and I.

Needless to say, my life is drama free, (knock on wood) and I enjoy that very much. Gossip Girl is my right hand woman when it comes to my need for a little bit of dramatized entertainment.

On that note, you know you love me.
